  • Water Supply: The Water Supply for the City of Broken Arrow is derived from the Oklahoma Ordinance Works Authority near Pryor (OOWA) The Source is supplied from Grand River- North of Highway 412. The plant capacity is 27 mgpd (approximately 50% capacity) The Average Daily Consumption is 12.5 MGD. Currently, Broken Arrow has 7 water towers with a storage capacity of 5 mg, ground 1-5mg, and elevated 1.0 mg. Pressure in mains varies depending on elevation from the water towers (less than 50 psi to greater than 135 psi)
  • Sewer Plant: City of Broken Arrow has a conventional activated sludge plant at the Haikey Creek Plant. Fifty percent of Broken Arrow is served by community sewer. The average daily load is 3.2 MGD, design capacity 6.5 MGD.
  • Electric Company: AEP Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) serves the City of Broken Arrow. PSO is the largest distributor of wind energy in Oklahoma with more than 400 MW under long-term contracts--enough wind power to supply more than 100,000 customers. PSO uses a diverse fuel mix of natural gas, coal and wind to provide electricity to more than 520,000 customers across the state.

  • Air Transportation: The nearest commercial airport is 12 miles from Broken Arrow. Tulsa International Airport (TUL) is a full service airport with three runways. The longest runaway is 10,000 feet; and two runways have Instrument Landing Systems (ILS). There are 10 major commercial airlines operating from Tulsa International, including several air freight companies.
  • Water Transportation: The nearest water transportation is located at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa, located 22 miles from Broken Arrow, and serving as the center of navigation for the 445-mile McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. The Port is connected via the Arkansas River to the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico. Foreign Trade Zone services are offered.

      Hwy 51 also known as the Broken Arrow Expressway is a major artery running alongside the beautiful Stonewood Hills Development area. Hwy 51 also leads into Tulsa and links to the Muskogee Turnpike.

      This north and south expressway runs parallel between Tulsa and Broken Arrow providing convenience and easy accessibility to all major intersections.
    • Creek Turnpike
      Provides a loop in a half circle around the South West area of Broken Arrow providing an enjoyable scenic country drive.
